Some guy on Australian Idol: “Awww… praise… ahhh God ay!”
Me: “Ahhhh yay Ala! Hah- Hah-“
Disclaimer: I do not watch reality crap. My sister was just watching it downstairs.

Did you notice that the girl’s laptop is a previous model MacBook Pro with a clear case that the flowers are stuck too? Pretty cool that Microsoft is showing that you can use this silly software on a Mac.
Although, if you got a Mac, you’d probably just use Garageband.

Everyone has been talking about this video, and I hadn’t seen it yet. I came across Danny Conway’s tumblog after discovering his twitter thanks to Justine
This guy, Corey, had a party, and it got out of hand. It’s happened before. It happens all the time; when I was in high school so many house parties were gatecrashed. Granted, I don’t think there was ever 500 people at the ones I know about, but the police were usually there by about 11pm.
All I hear about this Corey dude is that he loves his sunglasses, is wanted by many companies to be their ‘face’, and is being hired to host parties.
Once I saw this video it all became clear.
The media — in this case Today Tonight — is making such a big deal out of nothing; “alcohol fueled party” - 99.9% of parties are alcohol fueled.
Big parties like this always occur when parents are away, and of course they didn’t say he could have a party. Gee wizz!
Even though Corey looks like a tool (in my opinion), he hasn’t really done anything wrong — I’m not taking sides though.
Anna Coren, the host of Today Tonight, did an okay job of this interview. It would have been better if she was on a podcast (or some kind of un-rated television) and just went off at him; you can tell she’s holding back some fury. Especially when he wouldn’t take of his so-called ‘famous’ sunglasses.
This is like how Paris Hilton got famous; just doing common act and it happens to blow out of proportion. Kind of ridiculous!
I’m just fueling (more) it by posting this.
Back to you, Anna.
