I enjoy vinyl records. I love the warm sound it shares with my ears. Though, I can’t imagine ever housing all the music I like in vinyl form. I’d much prefer to use these shelves as a server rack for my media. A server rack with a retro design; oooo! Nerd.

The NYC Port Authority has placed colored cellophane wrapping around the interior lights in the new World Trade Center tower to color it for the holidays. (via)
I’m on the bus heading to NYC right now (Friday, 4:38 pm EST) and I’ll have a few hours to chew up before I have to catch my bus to Buffalo. I’d like to go down to WTC to take photos of these colours, but I wonder how cumbersome it will be with my suitcase.

I enjoy the cool tones of the mannequin contrasted by the warm rusty orange colour of the petrol station branding seen in the reflection of the glass. This is so shiny that I feel like I could turn around from where I’m sitting and see that exact petrol station — that’s definitely not possible since I’m sitting on a bus from Buffalo to NYC while I write this.
