Juranda House in Vila Beatriz, Sao Paulo, Brazil by Apiacás Arquitetos

name Juranda House
place Vila Beatriz, São Paulo, SP
year 2008
status construido
classification residencial
area 150 m²

I followed the various Tumblr click-through URLs to get to the source (sketches and large photos) of this dwelling/project. Design Inspiration Pictures has an in-depth article about the project including photos of every angle inside and outside.
Be sure to check out Apiacás Arquitetos’ other projects such as the concept for the abandoned Paineiras Hotel in Rio de Janeiro. Officials in Rio accepted concepts for the rejuvenation of the hotel in time for the 2014 World Cup and 2016 Summer Olympics. More on this…

I would love a bunch of these in multiple colours (such as ‘Frozen Blackberry’) in my future house.
Since the original poster didn’t provide source links I decided to do a search for ‘wall clock words’. In the top few results was this blog post. Furthermore, they provided QlockTwo by Biegert & Funk as a source.
There’s also an iOS app and an Android app (opens Android Market) which mimics the style of this clock.
If you don’t enjoy clicking links, then I’ll inform you that this clock retails for around US$1190 (coloured acrylic models) / US$1420 (stainless steal model)

I’ve looked for the source of this image all over the internet with terms like ‘raised bed and desk’, ‘loft bed and desk’, ‘bed and desk off the floor’, ‘platform bed and desk’.
I found lots of other cool beds and bedroom designs, but not this specific one.
Then I put the image URL in to TinEye. It found 2 results. YAY!
The results aren’t what I was wanting — the person/company who created it — but it’s one step closer to being found.
TinEye is a giddy image search engine! You upload and image or paste in an image URL, then TinEye looks to see if it can find it on the web. It doesn’t always work because it relies pretty heavily on user’s to submit results, but it’s a rad idea!
It would be great for photographers to see whether others are using their images unlawfully on the Internet.
TinEye is free for anyone to use, but if you register a login it has the benefits of remembering your search history, and being able to use upcoming features before unregistered users. Also, if you are not registered, your search will expire and your permalinks will stop working after a few hours.
