Derek is an Australian videographer, photographer, podcaster, and gardener. That's all that will fit in this box though. Really, he can do anything. Srsly.

Win a Canon 5D Mark II from Scott Bourne →

I can’t think of creative person that wouldn’t want a Canon 5D Mark II. I’m sure it’s the most popular DSLR that records video, and no doubt the one everyone lusts over. I sure do.

Well, Scott Bourne announced back in August that he’s giving one away to a random person that retweets a particular tweet.

I already tweeted it here.

You can enter as well by retweeting Scott. More here…

When I heard Nikon released a dSLR with HD 720p video capabilities I thought “Ugh! First ‘Live View’. Now Video? Cameras with a mirror shouldn’t be doing this.”

Of course, Canon uped the game by releasing the 5D Mark II with Full HD (1080p).

I guess I’m traditional with SLR cameras because I learned on film ones.

That is, until I saw Justine’s video using her Nikon D90. The way it can zoom in and out so quickly is amazing! Then I saw the video above on GeekBrief TV and I think I’m sold!
